Virginia Valenzuela Narrative Strategist

I’m Virginia Valenzuela, a narrative strategist, writer, and editor based in New York. I work at the intersection of story and strategy, helping crypto and Web3 brands build the narratives that make people pay attention, and helping authors shape manuscripts that are worth reading.

My path here wasn’t linear, which is part of why I’m good at it. I’ve been a professor of creative writing and journalism, a founding editor of a crypto magazine, a head of communications for a Web3 platform, a ghostwriter, a manuscript editor, and a journalist with bylines in Wired and The Independent.

What ties it all together is narrative: the belief that the right story, told the right way, is the most powerful tool any brand or author has. I’ve spent a decade learning how to build it, and I bring that to every client I work with.

I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means the work is always deliberate and my attention is always yours.
